Back in North Carolina. I had a fantastic trip, and will be going back at some point in my life. Right now, I'm getting used to life in NC again... it was hard to adjust for a while; seeing everyone and realizing how we had both changed was difficult. I've gotten used to re-getting to know my friends at this point, so being home is fun! I jumped straight into work - trying to make back all the money I spent in South America, and now I'm getting ready to move into a house in Carrboro!

Life in America is so much more fast paced than in South America... Everything is go go go... and there is so much more pressure. Pressure to be doing all these things, spend time with these people, buy all those fancy toys and things that we don't really need. I'm getting sucked back into the life I was leading before I left. I have to work hard to remember the things that I learned, and to do the things that really make me happy, as well as the things that I need to do.

In other news - the weather is gorgeous, and I wish I could spend every second outside enjoying it. Have a fantastic Memorial Day weekend.
